Norbrook Czech Republic

On May 17th 2005, our parent company, Norbrook Laboratories Ltd, Newry, Northern Ireland, purchased a manufacturing facility from Aliachem a.s. (Synthesia). The facility manufactures Procaine Hydrochloride and Benzocaine and is the largest facility of its kind in the world.

Norbrook Laboratories Ltd took control of the facility which is based in Pardubice-Rybitvi. Since our acquisition, there has been a substantial upgrading programme and the facility is licenced for EC and US FDA standards.

The parent company Norbrook Laboratories Ltd is one of the world's largest manufacturers of veterinary injectable products. The company has a large medical division which has a head office in Newry, Northern Ireland, where they manufacture a large number of pharmaceutical raw materials.
