Description :
Based at Head Office in our Newry facility, the successful candidate will co-ordinate the development of synthetic projects from laboratory scale through pilot plant scale. The candidate will also be expected to play an important role in the technology transfer to large scale manufacture of the bulk pharmaceutical active ingredients. Duties will include the management of both projects and personnel, training and Health and Safety monitoring within the Chemical Synthesis facility. In addition the candidate is expected to co-ordinate the development and validation of the analytical methods of the respective projects in conjunction with the synthetic development.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have good organisational and communication skills and will be educated to PhD level in a science related discipline with an emphasis in organic chemistry and a good understanding of analytical techniques. He/she will preferably have a minimum of ten years relevant industrial experience with proven supervisory experience.
