Reference Number : FN46620710 Description : Applications are invited for the position of Commercial Reporting Accountant – Global Operations. Responsibilities will include leading key internal projects to streamline the monthly group financial reporting processes, developing and executing new suites of key commercial reports on a monthly basis, and reporting consolidated group commercial and financial performance each month to key internal and external audiences. The Commercial Reporting Accountant will further play a lead role in the group’s Annual Budgeting and Quarterly forecasting processes. The successful candidate will also liaise with senior financial and non-financial managers at Head Office and across the group to ensure historic performance is understood, future performance is forecast accurately and actual performance is optimised. Qualifications: Based in Newry and reporting to the Deputy Finance Director of the group, this is a key role which offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to mix crucial ‘number crunching’ with the development of real commercial skills in understanding and driving business performance once new processes are bedded down. Prospective applicants should be newly qualified chartered accountants. Overall candidates should be highly computer literate, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent troubleshooting skills and an ability to work to tight schedules and successfully achieve targets.
